Questions

Questions and answers

The questions that come in most often. If yours is not here, write to support@gormox.com.

Ordering

How do I order?

Add the machine to the basket, then fill in the address on the checkout page. A call follows from us one total; reply to accept, and the parcel is on its way within one to two working days.

How quickly do you reply?

Normally within one working day, Monday to Friday. Spanish public holidays add a day. If three working days pass with no reply, your message has probably gone astray, so please send it again.

Can I cancel after ordering?

Yes, free of charge, at any point before the parcel is handed to the courier. After that, you can still refuse it at the door and pay nothing.

Can I order more than one machine?

Yes. Say so in the enquiry and the total covers all of them, still with free delivery.

Paying

How can I pay?

Two tills only: the card form on the checkout page, or cash handed to the driver. No bank transfers. Cash adds nothing to the bill, and nothing at all leaves your pocket until the machine is in front of you. More on the site, so nothing is ever charged before the parcel reaches you.

Is VAT included?

Yes. The price shown already includes VAT. If you are buying for a business and need VAT shown separately on the invoice, say so in your enquiry.

My country does not use the euro. What do I pay?

Prices are in euros. If you pay cash, the courier collects the equivalent in your local currency, and we confirm both figures when we ring, so you know the exact amount in advance.

Someone asked me for a deposit. Was that you?

No. Gormox never asks for a deposit, a card number or a transfer before delivery. Please forward the message to support@gormox.com so we can warn others.

Delivery

Where do you deliver, and what does it cost?

To street addresses across the European Union, free of charge. A few islands and remote areas use a separate courier service; if that applies to you, we say so before you accept, with any extra carriage shown. Details are on the delivery page.

Can I have it sent to a parcel locker?

No, because payment is taken at the door, a person has to receive the parcel. A home, a workplace or a staffed reception are all fine.

Can I open the box before paying?

Yes, and we recommend it. If the machine is wrong or damaged, refuse it and you owe nothing.

Returns and guarantee

How long do I have to change my mind?

14 days from the day of delivery, with no reason needed. Tell us by email and we send the return address and a reference. See returns and refunds.

How is a cash payment refunded?

Whichever way the money came in, it goes out the same way: onto the card, or by bank transfer to an account you nominate if the driver took cash. Within 14 days of the machine reaching us.

What if a machine develops a fault?

It is covered by the legal guarantee of conformity, three years under the Spanish law that governs our sales. We arrange collection at our cost and repair or replace it. See the guarantee page.

The machines

Can the breakfast maker do the coffee, the eggs and the toast at once?

Yes, that is what it is for: the coffee maker, the frying pan on top and the 9-litre oven work at the same time. The oven’s timer runs from 0 to 30 minutes and switches the oven off when it finishes.

Is the GrillMate really smoke-free?

It is designed to keep smoke to a minimum, which is why it suits indoor use, but fatty food on any grill will make some smoke. Our note on indoor grilling covers how to keep it low.

What size pizza fits the PizzaMaker?

Up to 30 cm (12 inches). It heats from above and below and reaches 220 °C, and the non-stick plate also takes flatbreads, quesadillas and panini.

Do they need a special socket?

No, all three plug into a standard household socket. The PizzaMaker draws 2000 W, so give it a wall socket of its own rather than sharing an extension lead with another heating appliance.
